Course outline

This short course provides a solid foundation in areas of applied social theories, the psychology of human behaviour, contemporary human services, and social psychology. With only four subjects, the certificate has been developed around hands-on pedagogy and proximity to the human services industry, offering a compact employment pathway or upskilling for those already employed. This certificate is an entry point and four units of credit towards the Bachelor of Human Services.

Note

The availability of this course will be confirmed following a decision by the Department of Education, Skills and Employment regarding the extension of the Undergraduate Certificate category in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
