Course outline

Students choose study options from a range of specialised areas (such as Anthropology, Archaeology, Criminology, Creative Arts, English, History, Human Geography, Human Services, Indigenous Studies, Languages, Journalism and Writing, Politics and International Relations, Psychology, or Sociology) to suit individual career aspirations. They can specialise in one area or combine disciplines to prepare for many career paths. Students gain skills in contemporary communication, critical evaluation and analysis of evidence and ideas, and designing solutions to complex problems as well as a sound understanding of cultural diversity and ethics. Students who attend campus for part of the degree may combine online study with on-campus study in other disciplines. An honours year is available in most areas of study.
