Course outline

There is strong demand for qualified early childhood educators. This degree gives you a three-year qualification to work in early childhood settings with children from six-weeks-old to six-years-old.
Core units cover early childhood principles and practices, and also include literacy, language and pedagogical approaches for early childhood education. Issues in contemporary education, leadership and management, and health and wellbeing in the early childhood environment are core content areas.

Admissions Criteria

Non-academic requirements. Working with Children Check required for placements.

Completion of Year 12 or attained age 18 years; Teaching Personal Statement
