This program prepares graduates to contribute to the study, conservation and management of terrestrial or marine animals in the wild or in captivity. Study focuses on animals, their interactions with each other and environmental features and tools to manage animals to ensure sustainability. The emphasis on fieldwork means graduates can blend concepts from global literature with personal experience of diverse regional habitats and fauna. Conventional instruction is supplemented with opportunities to gain experience through the Study Overseas Program, workplace learning or research projects.
